Marketing:

The Dorset New Forest brand is primarily active overseas. Activity is currently focused in the Netherlands with other promotions taking place in Ireland, Germany, Belgium, France and the United States.

The destination has a colour brochure and website specifically to promote the brand abroad. Both are translated into other languages.

Main areas of activity are:

Regular press visits are hosted in the region from overseas journalists
Monthly news bulletin from region
Attendance at Meet the Media events in target markets
Brochure fulfilment via VisitBritain contacts
Working with tour operators to develop Dorset New Forest presence in their brochures/websites
Research of overseas visitors
