In 2001 the 95 mile stretch of coast between Orcombe Point, Exmouth and Old Harry Rocks near Swanage became England's first and only natural World Heritage Site.
This international designation brings with it opportunites for all those connected with the coast.
The Jurassic Coast Quality Business Scheme acknowledges the important role played by independent tourism businesses and is part of a wider investment in the World Heritage Site.
The Scheme aims to help optimise business performance, meet visitor expectations, realise the potential and share the real benefits that come with World Heritage status.
The Jurassic Coast Quality Business Scheme is funded by the South West Regional Development Agency and managed by Dorset New Forest Tourism Partnership in association with Devon tourism Skills Network.
