The recognised Welcome to Excellence Programme is used as the basis for the Partnership's customer service training. More than 300,000 people have already used this training making it the benchmark for customer service in the UK.
As part of the 2012 Welcoming Our World Campaign for Customer Service, Bournemouth and Poole Councils are making customer service training available FREE to the tourism and hospitality industry in the conurbation. It is hoped that this offer will soon be extended to other parts of Dorset.
The National Certificate in Customer Service (Level 2) comprises 4 days training and includes five modules
- Welcome Host
- Welcome International
- Welcome All
- Welcome Line
- Welcome Host Plus
