An introduction to the priciples of marketing and how they apply both generally and within the tourism industry in particular.
This marketing course is aimed at those who would benefit from exposure to the basic principles and practices of marketing including customer research, target marketing and the scope of promotional activities. With an emphasis on the production of publicity materials, participants will be invited to examine their current activities and how they might be developed for new or niche target audiences.
This course is considered to be particularly relevant to owner/managers of smaller businesses who want to stay in control of their budgets!
Marketing Principles and Practice is a fully accredited unit of the City and Guilds First Diploma in Travel and Tourism.

This course consists of two days coupled with two practical assignments.
